Overnight flight to London.

DAY 02 Mon   London
Welcome to London! Meet our representative who will transfer you to the hotel.  Balance of the day at leisure.  Kensington Palace Thistle 4*

DAY 03 Tue  London (B)
Breakfast and morning at leisure.  Afternoon sightseeing tour of London.  Visit the legendary St. Paul's Cathedral, where State wedding and funerals are held, and view the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London.  Sightseeing of the Stock exchange, bank of England and Mansion House.

DAY 04 Wed  London / York /  Darlington (B/L)
Breakfast and departure for a visit to the prehistoric sit of Avebury, before arriving at the magnificent Georgian city of Bath.  Panoramic sightseeing tour followed by lunch.   Free time to admire the architectural splendors of the city.  Crossing the Severn River into Wales, stop at the Roman Caerleon, home of King Arthur.  Visit the well preserved amphitheater, and time permitting, visit the small historic hill town noted for its connection with Druid Dr. William Price.  Accommodations at the 17th century Welsh Farm Court Coleman Manor

DAY 05 Thu   South Wales (B)
Begin the day with a morning visit to Cardiff, capital of Wales and the outdoor St. Fagan's museum, where scores of rebuilt ancient properties, including houses, churches and even pubs have been wonderfully preserved.   Free time for lunch.  Afternoon sightseeing to the verdant Vale of Glamorgan, including the market town where St. Anthony Hopkins lured ships to the rocks.

DAY 06 Fri   South Wales (B/L)
The many different invaders that tried to conquer Wales have left many reminders.  Today drive up the famed Rhondda Valley, home of Tom Jones and cradle of British Socialism.  See the houses of the old mining village clinging to the hills.  Then by complete contrast, drive to historic Monmouth, home of Mr. Rolls of Rolls-Royce fame, birthplace of Henry V.  Lunch in Wale's oldest pub, used by "Hanging Judge" Jeffereis and still showing the marks of the noose.  Continue to the beautiful Black Mountains and down the magnificent Wye Valley.

DAY 07 Sat   South Wales / London (B)
Breakfast and drive through Wales-England border Forest of Dean to the lovely city of Gloucester, visit the Cathedral, the restored Victorian docks and the shop Beatrix Potter used as a model for her "The Tailor of Gloucester" story.  Continue through the rolling hills and flower filled villages of the Cotswolds to London for overnight.

Transfer to airport for your return flight home.
