Morning sightseeing
tour of Paris. Sample Parisian life with its cultural
quarters and museums, its shopping areas and world famous cafes. Drive to Notre Dame
Cathedral, Bastille, the Louvre, Academia Française, Place Vendome, Opera Garnier,
Madeleine, Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Arch of Triumph, Trocadero, Les Invalides and Grand
Boulevards. This tour includes tickets to the first level of the Eiffel tower and a cruise
along the River Siene.
DAY 04 Wed
Paris / Giverny / Rouen / Deauville / Caen (B/D)
Drive along the Seine River to Giverny for a visit at Monets house and garden. Arrive in historic Rouen,
largely dedicated to Joan of Arc, for a walking tour including the Gothic Notre Dame
Cathedral. After lunch travel via the picturesque port of Honfleur and the seaside
resort of Deauville, before arriving in Caen, for a visit to the Caen
Memorial. Dinner and overnight. Le

Morning departure to Bayeux,
for a visit to the renown 11th century Tapestry. Continue to the D-Day Landing
Beaches for a walking tour of Omaha Beach, where Americans
landed on June 6, 1944. A view the American cemetery at Colleville is
included. Travel to the magnificent Mont Saint-Michel for a visit and
lunch on your own. Enter the region of Brittany via Saint Malo, home to the explorer
Jacques Cartier, to Angers. Dinner and accommodation at Château du
Plessis

Angers / Loire Valley / Tours (B/D)
This morning visit Angers, a city
dating back to the 13th century. Its fortress, built by St. Louis, is an impressive
example of feudal architecture. Continue via Saumur and Chinon forest to the
charming castle at Azy-le-Rideau and the 16th century château at Villandry,
known for their magnificent gardens. Travel through cave dwellings villages before
arriving in the pleasant town of Tours, known for its impressive medieval
stained glass windows in the Gothic Saint-Gatien Cathedral.

Morning departure to the
romantic 16th century Château de Chenonceau, built over the River Cher.
Continue to Amboise where Leonardo Da Vinci spent his lasts years. Travel
to the Château of Chambord, largest of all Loire castles, the elegant
Chateau of Cheverny and to Chartres for a visit to the
magnificent Gothic Cathedral, famous worldwide for its glorious stained glass windows.
Free time to wander through the old city. Arrive in Paris early evening.
