DAY 02 Sat Rome / Palermo (D)
Arrival at Rome’s International airport to connect to Palermo in the beautiful island of Sicily. Upon arrival you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Palermo. Time to relax before your evening. Welcome cocktail and dinner at the Jolly Palermo 4*

DAY 03 Sun Palermo / Segesta / Erice / Palermo (B/L/D)
After breakfast, depart to Segesta with it’s Doric temple to admire the fascinating landscape. Then proceed to the Phoenician and Greek city of Erice. Visit the Medieval district with its typical alleyways. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon continue to Trapani with its panoramic view of the "Saline" before returning to Palermo for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04 Mon Palermo / Cefalu / Tindari / Messina (B/L/D)
Breakfast and departure to the medieval town of Cefalu located along the south coast. Visit the 12th century Arab-Norman Cathedral before proceeding to Capo D’Orlando. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Tindari to admire the famous "Lingue di Sabbia" (sand tongues) before arriving in Messina for dinner at the hotel, located right in front of the Stretto (harbor.) Jolly Messina 4*

DAY 05 Tue Messina / Reggio Calabria / Taormina/ Messina (B/L)
After breakfast, weather permitting, board the vessel to Reggio Calabria where the famous "Bronzi di Riace" can be admired. Return to Messina for lunch in the panoramic room at the Jolly hotels’ restaurant. In the afternoon, departure to Taormina to visit the Greek Theatre. Free time to rest along the typically animated streets of Taormina’s center before returning to Messina for overnight at the hotel.

DAY 06 Wed Messina / Mont-Etna / Siracusa (B/L/D)
Morning departure to the still active, and most famous volcano in Europe, Mount Etna. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Siracusa to visit the archeological area where it is possible to admire the "Latomie del Paradiso" and the "Orechio di Dionisio." Visit the Ortigia Island, a historical center of Syracuse with examples of Baroque art before returning for dinner and overnight at the hotel Jolly Siracusa 4*

DAY 07 Thu Siracusa / Piazza Armerina / Agrigento (B/L/D)
Breakfast and departure through the typical gray houses of Piazza Armerina. Visit the immense Romas "Villa of Casale", famous for its well preserved 3rd and 4th century B.C. mosaic pavements which cover almost the entire floor space. Lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the hillside town of Agrigento for a visit to the famous Valley of the Temples: Temples of Concord, Juno, Hercules, Jupiter, Castor and Pollux. Dinner at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Valle dei Templi (the illuminated temples.) Jolly de la Valle 4*

DAY 08 Fri Agrigento / Monreale / Palermo (B/L/D)
After breakfast, return to Palermo. The first stop is in Monreale to visit the Duomo, one of the world’s most appreciated monuments, and the Benedictine Abbey (Chistro Benedettino.) Lunch at the hotel in Palermo. In the afternoon, visit Palermo’s historical center, one of the largest in Europe (the Cathedral with its dazzling multicolored marbles, paintings and its 12th and 13th century mosaics, as well as its famous cloisters, the Palace of the Normans built on the site of an earlier Moorish fortress.) Dinner and overnight at the hotel Jolly Palermo 4*
