DAY 02 Thu Paris
Welcome to France! Upon arrival at the airport you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel Elysees Kleber 3* / Lotti 4*. Free time to start exploring the city on your own.

DAY 03 Fri Paris (B)
Morning orientation tour of Paris. Drive to Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, Place Vendome, Opera Garnier, Madeleine, Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Arch of Triumph, and the Grand Boulevards. This tour includes tickets to the first level of the Eiffel Tower and a cruise along the River Siene. Balance of the day free to enjoy.

DAY 04 Sat Paris / Auxerre / Burgundy / Beaune / Lyon (B/D)
Breakfast and travel south through one of the most prosperous regions of France, seat of the dukes of Burgundy from the 9th to the 17th century. Discover the Abbey of Fontenay, a Burgundian monastery founded in the 12th century. Continue to the world renowned Cote d’Or to Beaune for a visit to the 15th century Hotel Dieu with its mulicolored roof tiles and the Hospices of Beaune, a former Flemish hospital with its medieval kitchen, pharmacy and tapestries. Visit the Cisternian cellars of Clos Vougeot followed by wine tasting and continue the drive through Beaujolais, arriving in Lyon, a city famous for its gastronomy and silk industry. DAY 05 Sun Tours / Bourges / Perouges / Lyon (B/D)
Morning visit to the Cistercian cellars of Clos Vougeot for wine tasting. Drive through the Saone Valley, and Macon, home of the famous French poet Lamartine. Continue through Beaujolais, producer of the famous light fruity red wines, and to the medieval hilltop village of Perouges, with narrow cobblestone streets whose charm has nor gone unnoticed by the film industry. Arrive in historic Lyon, famous for gastronomy and silk. Enjoy a typical dinner in Vieux Lyon.

DAY 06 Mon Avignon / Baux de Provence / St. Remy / La Cadere d’ Azur (B/D)
After breakfast, visit the impressive Roman amphitheater of Arles. Discover the medieval town of Les Baux with its charming castle at the top of the hill, the delightful village of St. Remy de Provence, and the resort town of Cassis. Enjoy free time on the pier and then discover Les Calanques, the long narrow deep fjord-like inlets where a boat ride is included. Drive to the hilltop village of La Cadiere d’ Azur, overlooking the Mediterranean and vineyards for dinner and accommodations at

DAY 07 Tue La Cadeire d’ Azur / St.Paul de Vence / Nice (B)
After breakfast, drive through the Massif des Maures, the citadel city of Antibes and the medieval village of St.Paul de Vance, which lent inspiration to many artists including Chagall, Braque and Miro. Visit the Maeght Foundation and continue the drive through the French Riviera, arriving in Nice for accommodations. Sofitel 4*

DAY 08 Wed Nice / Eze / Monaco / Monte-Carlo / Nice (B)
Discover the medieval village of Eze, perched high on a rocky hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Continue to Monte-Carlo with its famous casinos to watch the changing of the guard. Visit the Cathedral and free time for strolling through Old Town. Balance of the day free.

Day at leisure. Optional tour to Antibes/Cannes/St.Paul-de-Vence.
