DAY 1
Sunday

SAO MIGUEL (PONTA DELGADA)
Arrival transfer Sao Miguel Island airport to Ponta Delgada. Hotel Canadiano
DAY 2
Monday 		SAO MIGUEL (B)
Departure at 9:30AM via the southern route to Furnas, stopping enroute at
the village of Vila Franca do Campo. Continue to Furnas Valley for a visit to the beautiful botanical park and the hot springs. Here, you can visit and lunch on your own. Return by the north coast for a stop at a tea plantation and the town of Ribeira Grande.
DAY 3
Tuesday 		SAO MIGUEL (B)
Depart at 9:30 AM to the gigantic volcanic crater of Sete Cidades Lake.
Stop at the "Vista do Rei", a vantage point to view the flat part of the island. Upon your return, visit the pineapple plantations. Afternoon at your leisure.

Wednesday

Breakfast and day at leisure.
DAY 5
Thursday 		SAO MIGUEL / FAIAL (HORTA) (B)
Transfer to airport for your one hour flight to Faial Island (airfare extra).
Arrival transfer to the capital city of Horta, check-in at hotel . Afternoon
drive to Caldeira, the highest point on the island, sightseeing of Valley of
Flamengos and Capelinhos, site of the last volcanic eruption in the Azores.

DAY 6
Friday

FAIAL / PICO / FAIAL (B)
At 9:30 AM, transfer to the harbor for your (approximately) 30 minute boat ride to Pico Island. It is here where Portugal's highest mountain is located. Cross the island via the mountain road to arrive at the village of Lajes for a visit to the Whale Museum. Continue to the village of Sao Roque, and then to Cachorro for a visit to the black rocks. Arrive at Madalena for the return boat ride to Faial.
DAY 7
Saturday 		FAIAL (B)
Day at leisure. Enjoy the international marina, streets of white-washed houses, or city museums. Optional Whale Watching tour available from Apr-Aug + Oct.
DAY 8
Sunday

FAIAL (B)
Breakfast and departure transfer hotel to the airport.
